The amazing Orit! I had the honor of meeting and learning from her last year. If you get a chance to go to one of her workshops or to her annual belly dance festival in Israel, do it!

She shared this tonight saying:
“I’m a goin’ to Ningbo (宁波!) this August, so Belly Dance China put together a li’l docu-mercial about this here RB to introduce me to the dancers there. I think they did a nice job.”I… absolutely ADORE this woman.
This was put together so beautifully! Her passion for what she does shows so brightly in her interviews, even then ones in text - so much so I tear up. I think thats one of the things that draws me to her so much… it just shows in her eyes, every time she talks and dances. The people of China are going to love her.
This Nagwa Fouad, who I read about while reading an article from Hossam Ramzy about Baladi. He mentioned Nagwa, and I absolutely loved this dance. I am really developing a huge soft spot for classic Egyptian belly dancing. There was something so special, elegant, and feminine about these dancers! I am amazed at their skill and their incredible beauty in dance. I still can’t get over how controlled yet FAST her shimmies were toward the end! Oh my gosh, I want to get there one day!
